For many people, theater is an outlet. It is an opportunity to express emotions you have yet to experience or comprehend and an instance to understand another’s point of view. My time on stage has not only been a chance to do this, but it has additionally been a time to build confidence. For me, there is truly nothing like theater. It is a time to strut on stage without a doubt in my mind and display intricate emotions and stimulate laughter. Theater has provided me with an opportunity to trust and actualize myself. I used to be a shy, immature, and confused boy who was afraid of never getting accepted. Theater has given me the time to grow into the confident, brave, and competent young man I am today. Acting, singing, and dancing on a stage has taught me to believe in myself and place value in the talents I have acquired from this art. Theater has been and will continue to be important to me, for it has transformed my confidence to not only trust myself on stage, but in life.
